Career
Anchal first appeared in many TV commercials and then in few Hindi television series. Her first film was in Telugu, Masth. Her first Hindi film was Rupali Guha’s Aamras. She made her debut in Kannda in 2011 and played a supporting role in Kempe Gowda. She was first supposed to play the lead role in the film. She replaced Mugdha Chaphekar as Aarti Jhaveri in the sitcom Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo.

Model cum actress Aanchal Sabharwal from Delhi has been chosen as the heroine of the Sudeep directed film Kempe Gowda.

The movie will start its shooting of the second schedule from September 3, a day after his birthday. Anchal Sabharwral has already worked in many modelling assignments and has also participated in many ramp shows. An English graduate from the Delhi University, Aanchal wanted to become an actress and had worked in some documentary films and a few television serials.

Though there were rumours that many actors like Priyamani and Asin were approached for the film, finally the mantle of the heroine has fallen on Aanchal Sabharwal.

Since Sudeep who is also directing this remake wants to finish the film early, he wanted a heroine who can allot bulk dates for the film. Producer Shankare Gowda who is investing a fortune in Kempe Gowda has organised a big birthday bash on Wednesday where many film personalities and other producers and directors of Sudeep’s films were present.

Sudeep after Kempe Gowda will start with Dwarakish’s untitled film directed by V.Kumar, a one time assistant to Tamil film director K.S.Ravi Kumar. Priyamani and Bhavana also play important roles.

Sudeep has already agreed to do a new film with Krishnan Love Story director Shashank and produced by Uday Mehta.
